Hello, I’m
Roxanne Carter and welcome to my website, Quilting with Roxanne. I
hope you have a lot of fun here.
|
|
 |
|
I have just
updated my pattern pages with lots of new patterns. I hope you like
them. After 12
years, I have finally decided that I have to raise my pattern
prices. The pattern pages now reflect the new prices. Thank you for
understanding.
I’ve been a traditional quilt maker for over twenty
five years having spent the last 23 years as a quilting instructor
in the great Pacific Northwest. |
| I live in
Mukilteo, Washington with my husband, Rob. I have authored four
quilting books published by That Patchwork Place and have designs in
many other books and magazines. Quilting instruction and pattern
designing is now a full-time occupation. |
|
| In
addition to project classes taught in local quilting shops,
I maintain 26 monthly "Girls Night Out" or Girls Day Out" classes
where students attend once a month to work on a project, either in
local shops or in my home studio. My passion is to take an
existing design and come up with ways of making it easier to
construct, or come up with a new design altogether. I have a great
enthusiasm for quilting and share this enthusiasm with all my
students, from beginners to advanced. |
|
I use a Janome 6600 Professional sewing machine and love everything
about it. It's a machine every quilter would love to have.

| I
was honored to have been nominated for the 2004 Quilting Teacher of
the Year by the Professional Quilter Magazine. I am also the
featured teacher in the July 2004 issue of The Quilter Magazine.
I have designed quilts for fabric manufacturers "Maywood Studios", "Fabric Visions"
and "Telegraph Road". I have had several quilts in "The Quilter
Magazine" and

I have written an article for the 3rd issue of the
"$100,000 Quilting Challenge" magazine that came out in August 2006. |
| I
have the honor of being guest speaker at several guilds and the
featured instructor/speaker on a number of quilting cruises. I
would be honored to speak at your guild as well.

|
Enjoy what you see here and please, send me an email. I would
love to hear from you. |
